PostSubject: applying for a grant   Fri May 28, 2010 3:27 am

Our school already has a fantastic fruit and vegetable garden - we have been keen gardeners for over a decade. However, we are interested in developing a kitchen which can be used by the kids. Are we eligible for the funding program?

Schools that are eligible to apply for grants:
- Government schools with a primary enrolment
- Special schools with a primary curriculum
- Non-government schools with a primary enrolment that belong to the National Partnerships (low SES) program.

If your school meets this criteria, you are able to apply even if you already have an existing garden or kitchen. Your application could aim to extend your existing garden. Other schools may need to build both a kitchen or a garden.
A Project Officer is available to discuss specifics to your situation. Otherwise feel free to ask more questions through this forum.
